We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. Thank you all for our lovely gifts and vouchers, they were gratefully received.
Our theme this half term will be traditional tales. The children will be taking part in a variety of learning opportunities based around traditional tales. The two main stories we will use are Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Elves and the Shoemaker.
We would like the children to start coming into Nursery on their own now so that they are able to manage hanging their coats etc independently. This will help with the busy cloakroom area at the start of each session and get the children to become increasingly independent in readiness for starting school in September. Thank -you
If you have not yet sent a wow moment in for your child please try to do so by the end of January.
Welcome to Nursery!
Finding quality pre-school education is very important. Our qualified teacher and NNEB Nursery Nurse are very experienced in the care and education of young children. They are supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.
We put great importance on working with parents to ensure children are happy and safe as well as making good academic progress.
We can offer 5 free 3 hour sessions to children who are 3 years old and above. Where possible children will be admitted for a minimum of three terms on a part time basis prior to their school start date in September.
Where there are places, pupils may be admitted in the term after the child's 3rd birthday.
No children under 3 will be admitted.
In the event of over subscription we will follow the criteria of the Infant School Admission Policy.
Where parents choose to use two of their sessions on the same day, we can provide a lunch club for their children but this is extra to the 15 hour entitlement and there is a fee payable.
If you are also committed to high standards of pre-school education why not come and visit?
You can call us on 01277 651478. We look forward to hearing from you!
It is not possible for parents to speak to Nursery staff during teaching hours as all the staff will be working, so the infant school office will pass any messages to Nursery and ask Nursery staff to contact you when they can.
Have you seen the Kids' Zone? Play games, and visit some cool websites. You can vote for your favourites!
We hope that we will able to offer places to any family that wants their child to attend. However in the event of the Nursery being over subscribed we follow the school's admission policy.
