About Us

Finding quality pre-school education is very important. Our qualified teacher is very experienced in the care and education of young children. She is supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.

In Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We believe a child's wellbeing and involvement is at the heart of a good education.

Throughout the academic year, we develop our learning through creative and stimulating themes in our free-flow indoor nursery and outdoor garden. Through our continuous provision resources and high quality teaching, we develop and support key learning skills that help us to be independent learners as well as nurturing and supporting high levels of wellbeing and involvement.

We put great importance on working with parents to ensure children are happy and safe as well as ensuring good academic progress.

We can offer 5 free 3 hour sessions to children who are 3 years old and above. Where possible children will be admitted for a minimum of three terms on a part time basis prior to their school start date in September. Additionally, where parents are in receipt of a 30 hour funding code, we are able to offer 30 hours if we have space.

Where there are places, pupils may be admitted in the term after the child's 3rd birthday.

No children under 3 will be admitted.

In the event of over subscription we will follow the criteria of the Infant School Admission Policy.

Where parents choose to use two of their sessions on the same day, we can provide a lunch club for their children but this is extra to the 15 or 30 hour entitlement and there is a fee payable.

If you are also committed to high standards of pre-school education why not come and visit?
You can call us on 01277 651478. We look forward to hearing from you!

It is not possible for parents to speak to Nursery staff during teaching hours as all the staff will be working, so the infant school office will pass any messages to Nursery and ask Nursery staff to contact you when they can.

Current Events

JUST A REMINDER - Attendance at our Nursery does not guarantee your child a place at the Infant School. We hope that we will able to offer places to any family that wants their child to attend. However in the event of the Nursery being over subscribed we follow the school's admission policy which can be found here.
