Happy New Year - we hope you have all had a good and restful Christmas.
We are looking forward to a very exciting and creative new year which starts with a new topic called "ARCHITECTURE". During this term we shall be looking at different structures from around the world and will be designing and building our own bridges
READING : We are hoping that all the children will read at least 5 times a week at home; if they can read for at least 10 minutes a day it will really help them become more fluent readers, please see their new bookmarks which contain guidance of how to support your child with their reading.
At school we aim to hear each child read at least once a week, this maybe individually, as part of a group or during our daily phonics lessons.
This year both classes will have PE on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons.
Please ensure that a named PE kit is in school on these days, especially if it has been taken home after a club.
Please also ensure that all long hair is tied back and that earrings are removed – earrings are not allowed to be taped over and staff are not permitted to either remove or look after jewellery.
