We are very excited to have achieved the Primary Science Quality Mark!  Thank you to all the staff, children and parents that helped us to make a difference to the way we teach science here at South Green Infant school.

Las year we were developing our Enquiry areas in the classroom and investigating the weather, seasonal change and looking at different materials. This year we will be deepening the children’s knowledge of the clouds, categories of plants and trees and phenomena that happen in each season.

In each classroom you will find our vision and principles for Science and a 'working wall' showing the learning that is taking place with key vocabulary to support the children.

On our Knowledge Organisers (sent out each half term) we explain the learning that will take place and introduce the vocabulary that will be taught and used within the classroom.
